Hi, I'm just a girl who loves psychology.
I’m Ridaya, a Psychology undergraduate with a passion for understanding the human mind in all its complexity and context.
Psychology isn’t just something I study; it’s how I make sense of the world around me. My academic interests span across social and cultural psychology, geriatric care, childhood and adolescent development, and experimental research. I’m especially drawn to studying parenting styles, addiction, intergenerational mental health, and the psychological impact of societal structures, particularly on women and the LGBTQIA+ community.
Since 2018, I’ve been actively involved in social work — from supporting the geriatric community to working with NGOs for orphaned children. I’m also a committed advocate for:
LGBTQIA+ rights
Gender equity and women’s rights
Inclusion and diversity in academia & the workplace
Thoughts in Translation is my corner of the internet to reflect, explore, and question. It’s where I share insights drawn from both experience and study shaped by empathy and driven by curiosity.
